begonias

A few weeks ago, Hubby and Missy came in with a huge collection of begonias from the garden center. Apparently, some words stick in the mind because I had only mentioned them a couple of time (that I remember) when I noticed some angel-wing begonias had found their way somehow from the other house.
So, here's to Hubbies who pay attention when we least expect it!

They seem to like the back of the house that gets very limited sunlight. And, yes, that middle-right photos is a pink and a white bloom on the same plant!

Aren't they lovely? I keep forgetting that not all parts of the world are frozen and cold, like here!
Thanks for the reminder!

O, what lovely plants. I haven't bought any new ones yet...it's still so cold here at night...will wait until the weather warms up.
It's always such a wonderful surprise when our sweeties pay attention to things we want...:)
I can't imagine how hard it would be to live in a different country. I do hope you are enjoying it.
Thanks so much for coming by...hope you will come again soon.
I am going to link up to follow you and then read more of your pretty blog.

My father used to grow those ... and yes they do like being on the cool, shady north side of the house in the Northern hemisphere... presume the north side is the hot side in the Southern hemisphere? Here their bigger cousins seem to like the East side of the house....

I am so happy to see these lovely begonias. Although we've had a beautiful Sunday today, sunny and relatively warm, we have to wait a few more weeks to see flowers outdoors in Warsaw.
