45 minutes of my life

Yesterday morning was busy for about 45 minutes. Within that time, we had a new water tank put in. With one guy to drive the digger, one to do the unhooking/hooking back up and one to tell them what needs done, the little spot of pasture went from having this on the spot:

to

a brand new tank that doesn't leak! Yay! The fire truck brought a load of water later in the day and will bring another soon to fill it up (mostly). Then, all we will need is rain to keep it full.

That part took about 30 minutes total, from unhooking the old tank to hooking up the new one. The rest of the excitement was when the digger went around the fence and took a bite out of  a tree/bush/ugly thing in the front yard garden. In a matter of seconds, it went from this:
 to this

I know, I was impressed, too!

Now I have some more room for pretty flowers! Thanks, guys!

That seems like a pretty fast job of getting a new tank installed!

Interesting post. We have well water, too. So far we haven't run dry. 2010 was a bad year for drought, but we live in the middle of a wetland!

Thanks for by and stopping by my Garmisch post. Seeing the castles and visiting the monks sounds like a great choice. There are so many castles in Germany. New Zealand sounds beautiful too!
